Character: Graypaw
Clan: Thunderclan
Personality:
Graypaw is mostly what a clan cat should expect: eager, willing, loyal, and brave. Always he is more than enthusiastic when it comes to his duty, even the ones he doesn't like so much. For now he wants only to serve his clan and the leader he trusts with his life.
his loyalty extends beyond loyalty to his clan. He also has loyalty to his heart. He knows he would willingly give his life for his close friend Ravenpaw just to protect him from his harsh mentor if he had to, much less give his life protecting his clan and leader and whoever he comes to love and call his mate.
Reason:
I've always admired Graypaw's determination and strength in situations of doubt and hardship. His choice to defy the warrior code and risk his life for the sake of one she-cat, as well as leave the home and friends he loves for his kits has always been proof of this. Also his loyalty to both his friends and heart makes him even more admireable. Then there's the possibility that Silverstream may survive in this version and I'm anxious to see how his mating with a Riverclan cat effects both her clan and his as well as seeing what the action does to her as well. I know it's looking into the future a little, but I still want that Silverstream to happen.
RP Sample:
The day was bright, almost uncomfortably so, and the sun shone in the sky without a cloud to block it's beauty. The trees all around him gave him sweet, cool shade and he stayed relaxed in comfort. He knew he had to stay focused, but he couldn't imagine any warrior being able to handle anything without being comfortable. Except for maybe a battle, those probably wouldn't feel too great. But he was still waiting for his first battle.
Graypaw padded behind his mentor, Lionheart, hoping he was doing all he was supposed to do. He breathed the scent of the world, kept as quiet as possible, marked a rock or tree every now and then, and kept his ears pricked for prey or enemy cats. So far he figured he was doing well. Lionheart hadn't said he was doing bad anyway.
The trees began to thin and carry a pattern, the work of twolegs. Graypaw didn't understand the furless creatures, or the fact that they kept cats as kittypets. He couldn't even understand wanting to be a kittypet. Didn't they ever run away? Well, if they ever did try to get out of their gardens he would chase them out. But why? If they were young cats why couldn't they just join the clan? In fact, there was a little orange cat starting to wander int Thunderclan territory right now.
